What happens during an assessment?
Assessment may cover falls history, walking, lower-limb strength, balance tasks, medications or symptoms that warrant medical review.
What might a care plan include?
An individual plan may include supported balance practice, functional strengthening and safe mobility progression.
Questions patients ask
Is balance & mobility rehabilitation right for me?
There is no one treatment plan that suits everyone. The first step is to review the symptoms, medical history and functional goals, then decide whether physiotherapy, additional medical assessment or a different service is appropriate.
What should I bring to an assessment?
Please bring relevant reports or imaging if you already have them, a current medication list when relevant and a brief description of what daily activities have become difficult. You do not need to obtain scans solely to book a first enquiry.
Safety and next steps
Frequent unexplained falls, sudden severe dizziness or new neurological signs require medical assessment.
